Our franchises offer customers a comprehensive array of moving services - whether it's moving one appliance, an entire household or a business. Locations also offer packing and unpacking services in addition to selling boxes and an array of packing supplies.

You don't have to have experience in trucking or moving to qualify for a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® success is based on solid customer relations, managing people and schedules, and following common-sense business practices.

The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® extensive new franchisee training program will give you all of the training and business planning needed to start up your new TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® moving business quickly so you start generating revenue as soon as you open your doors for business.

Our franchisees vary in age, professional background and gender. Women and husband-wife teams operate more than half of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchises currently open.

Our training programs enable franchisees to learn all of the basics about operating a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise.

  • Phase one begins the day a franchise is awarded. Franchisees receive a comprehensive start-up kit and begin working with our training and franchise consulting staff.
     
  • Phase two takes place at STICK MEN UNIVERSITY® located in Lansing, Michigan. This phase combines comprehensive classroom and practical training.
     
  • Phase three is the opening of the franchise! As a franchise begins operations, the home office support team provides ongoing assistance including an on-site visit from a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise business consultant. A franchise business consultant is a great source of support for new and experienced franchisees.

  • Never use printed newsprint to wrap fine china.
  • Pack important and sentimental documents separately to be easily accessible including: children's health records, passports, family records, insurance information and photo albums.
  • For large appliances be sure to check your owner's manuals to see if there are special instructions for moving.
  • Always stack dishes upwards when packing.
  • Use only small boxes for books. They get very heavy, very fast.
  • Remember: the heavier the item, the smaller the box.
  • Don't pack with food or supermarket boxes. You never know what little critter is hiding - or if the box will be strong enough to support your possessions.
  • Make your reservations for movers two to four weeks before your move day.
  • Avoid mixing items from different rooms in the same box.
  • Use wardrobe boxes to make closets easier to pack. Clothes in drawers can be placed in suitcases.
